Chay’s Way of Holding

Chay (she/they) is a full spectrum doula who believes that having access to support during pregnancy can have a lasting impact on a person’s well being. As a full spectrum birthworker, Chay is trained to provide support for the full range of pregnancy outcomes, including abortion. Her offerings include a variety of educational, physical, emotional, and spiritual forms of support. Whether it is a medicated or unmedicated birth, vaginal or cesarean, a miscarriage or an abortion, Chay considers it an honor to be invited to witness and support families in their journey. Her wish is for all people to feel safe, heard, and cared for.

Chay has experience supporting people of color, queer people, and trans people.

Working with Chay

Our care works through Companionship: one ongoing relationship with our practice, shaped to what you’re carrying and held across the time you need to be carried. Chay holds the whole arc, with particular depth in loss, release, and ceremony, and steady care through every pregnancy outcome.

If her way of holding resonates, name her in your inquiry. We’ll find the right fit together during consultation.
