Learn With Us

Teachings and pláticas, for the season before.

This is where this work begins, for ourselves and for each other. Classes, pláticas, and the slow conversations the field has rarely made room for. Some teachings are about specific thresholds: choosing a medical provider, the risks and benefits of an epidural, the postpartum nobody warned you about. Others are about the larger arc: how we came to this work, what we’ve learned along the way, what we want you to know before you need it. And some travel wider than the literal, into how the same rhythms that move the womb carry everything else you bring to life.

Most of our teachings are open to anyone tending their own reproductive life. Some are reserved for practitioners. Many feed naturally into deeper relationships: companionship, groups, longer-term study. They are upstream of how we do this work, and where we plant what later grows.

Forming now

Our first classes are taking shape, and every one is held by a team: a lead facilitator, a space holder, and a session coordinator, because we hold rooms the way we hold everything else, together. We announce every class here first; leave your name below and you’ll be the first to know.

Pláticas

We’re also building out pláticas, Spanish for conversations, and in the lineages we hold, a particular kind of gathering. Relational, hosted in community spaces, focused on a single topic that needs more room than a class can give. The first will be in collaboration with a local Bay Area business, and each is held the way our classes are, by a team. More to come.

And if you’re imagining a plática for your own community or organization, that is exactly what our Bring Us In door is for.

New classes and pláticas are announced here first. If you’d like to be the first to know, leave your name and we’ll be in touch when the next thing opens.
